Oliver's 5th Birthday Party, Halloween theme.

Oliver decided he wanted a Halloween theme this year for his birthday in January. I was happy because he decided on the theme during the summer, so after Halloween, I was able to get party favors, games, and party-ware for super clearance.

This year we were able to borrow an awesome space that was once a Fencing Academy so it was huge, had a kitchen, and a large party space that could hold a bounce house indoors.

It also had an "office" that was basically an enclosed hallway and made for an awesome haunted house.

I made these party hats since it wasn't a Halloween party, but a Halloween Birthday Party which they don't really have hats for.
Candy bar, during set-up. A huge hit

I neglected to take pictures after set-up i.e. during the party, so below is pre-cupcake, cupcake stand and place for birthday cake.

I made the birthday cake, it was a skeleton cake mold and I just had to add frosting for the bones and I also added pumpkins around the edge.

Above are plates my son and his friends decorated to look like jack-o-lanterns, a fun craft and decoration for his party.

Party favor table.

We also put his presents on the table and on the floor in front of table.

Party hat station, please note the paper plate man my son made for decoration.

 Drink station.

The space was really big, but I think it still looked festive, even in the large space.

Decoration for above the cake table, looked better in person.

The racecar track was a hit and a last minute addition to the party, who knew.
The party was a hit and really didn't cost much to throw, the most expensive thing was the bounce house rental, but since the space we had it was free, it was worth the cost. The decorations were either left over from Halloween, or I bought them on super clearance after Halloween. The banners, paper lanterns, bats, etc.. were all under a dollar, the party favors costume next to nothing because I just got a bunch of Halloween stuff after the holiday.

  1. Oliver's 5th Birthday Party with Halloween theme looks astonishing. Each and everything is very cute and quite creative as well. For our family kids we hosted a special not so scary pre-Halloween bash in the last year. It held at the local convention center and all the arrangements were done by my mom and sister-in-law. Both pulled it off fantastically.
